Senior Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Finalizing Financial Statements:
Ensure accurate and compliant financial statements and relevant disclosures in accordance with US GAAP guidelines.
- Statutory Accounts:
Proficiently finalize statutory accounts under both IFRS and US GAAP.
- Reporting GAAP to Local Conversion:
Lead conversion and convergence services between U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including recognition and measurement with detailed disclosures.
- Transaction-Oriented Accounting:
Provide assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising, financing structures, financial instruments, revenue recognition, and leases.
- SOX Compliance:
Ensure compliance with the SOX framework in financial reporting and related processes.
- Project Management:
Manage GAAP conversion projects and projects related to the provision of accounting advisory support (IFRS/US GAAP/Ind AS) to clients.
- Documentation:
Write memos/issue papers on complex accounting issues and manage projects related to IPO preparedness and preparation of financial information for IPO transactions.
- Due Diligence Support:
Assist due diligence teams in IFRS/US GAAP impact assessment on cross-border transactions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting advisory services.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Ind AS.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
